Paperboy arcade game side art7/3/2023 ![]() The windows have a nice shattered effect when you break them with a paper. Honestly, it looks like the car would be damaged if it hit you.īackgrounds were quite nice, with the houses looking sharp and detailed. The dogs looked like they had just chewed part of their body off to escape a bear trap. The best one was the construction worker, he looked spot on. ![]() Most of them were small, but were petty clear and had detail. While not that big or colorful, he did the job. The 'boy himself has some good detail, with the different clothes and a hat. Kin Corn Karn: For the most part the graphics are pretty good. Everything is represented the way it is supposed to look, with bright and crisp sprites. If you have played the arcade version the only thing you will be lacking are the BMX handles. Starman: In my sometimes not-so-humble opinion, the SMS version of Paperboy has some of the best graphics out of all the ports. Beyond the arcade, the game was ported to well over a dozen consoles and computer systems we’re here to bring you another Sega Master System review. The arcade version was unique among other cabinets for instead of a normal control setup it had a pair of BMX handles sticking out of the machine that controls out intrepid hero on his quest for the perfect delivery week. I was one of those paperboys when I was a kid, and while the game may seem innocuous at first I can tell you from first hand experience that it was not an easy job. Starman: Paperboy, a game mentioned by graverobbing and one that brings back memories of a simpler time in my life.
