Kelly captains "Team Morgan Stanley" at the annual Philly-Spin In benefitting Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). ![]() She also serves as a Volunteer Coach for the Whitpain Recreation Association. Kelly is a member of The Union League of Philadelphia, 100 Women in Finance, and the Young Professionals Chapter of the Board of Associates of Fox Chase Cancer Center. She also played for the Bucknell Division I Field Hockey team. from Bucknell University with a dual major in Economics and Spanish and minor in Anthropology. ![]() She holds the Series 6, 7, 9, 10, 63, and 65 securities licenses as well as her life, accident, health, and long-term care insurance licenses. Kelly also completed the Certified Investment Management Analyst ® (CIMA ®) certification through the Investments & Wealth Institute in conjunction with The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Kelly is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Accredited Wealth Management Advisor℠. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Kelly began her career at Vanguard and held a number of roles at UBS including Wealth Planning Analyst, Financial Advisor, and Senior Wealth Strategist. In that role, she was responsible for driving revenue and asset growth among our talented and diverse group of Financial Advisors. Kelly joined Morgan Stanley in 2020 as the Business Development Manager for the Complex. The 215 Financial Advisors and Private Wealth Advisors in the Complex manage over $50 billion in assets for our clients. The Complex includes 7 Wealth Management Offices, as well as a Private Wealth Management Office Blue Bell, Berwyn, Doylestown, Newtown Square, Philadelphia, West Conshohocken, and Yardley. Kelly Stefanowicz is the Associate Complex Manager for the Greater Philadelphia Complex. She enjoys being involved with community organizations such as the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia, the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, CT, and the CT Challenge in Southport, CT. Katie resides in Devon, PA with her family. Katie earned her BS degree in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota in 1998, and a MBA from Regis University, Denver, Colorado in 2010. She started her career at Wells Fargo Private Client Services in 1998, where she held various positions including Financial Advisor, Administrative Manager and Regional Sales Manager. Previously, she had been with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management for 12 years, most recently as the Market Executive for the Stamford, CT market. Katie joined the Greater Philadelphia Complex in 2018. Katie Flaherty is a Managing Director and the Complex Manager for the Greater Philadelphia Complex.
